On the rare occasions I am absolutely forced to patronize one of those vile places, I love to confound the barista (who, despite the silly title, is just a fast-food worker) – “Gimme a coffee.” Blnk look and/or “Huh?”

While you’re at it put a little coffee in there.

I roast my own coffee. What is the point of drinking it if you can’t taste it?
