    according to a report on him he is an artist with an extreme form of color blindness. The implant is an attempt to give him some way of interpreting colors.

    Apparently he has no wish for a more subtle styling of the antenna to make it less obvious, deliberately provoking some of his problems with governments.

    OH, the Japanese are obsessed with koi. I remember an item in the news a few years back about a koi with a pattern similar to a human face on its head, and people came from hundreds of miles away just to look at it.

    The antenna ENABLES him to “hear” colors.So he’s color blind; before I read that comment, I thought this antenna was for seeing colors in the dark. But night-vision goggles can make THAT possible.

    I googled the Ethiopian caterpillar….apparently it’s movement realistically simulates that of a real caterpillar. I think that’s very interesting (ever since I was a child, long ago, I’ve loved to watch caterpillars crawling along).
