I was an only child, but all I got from relatives were clothes(remember that I loved the relatives dearly)but they had poor taste for a growing boy(they all had girls) ! ! ! !

Hand-me-downs and home-sewn were not cool when I was growing up. Now consignment and second-hand shopping is all the rage. It is much more fun finding that real bargain that is also so stylish. Get more compliments on my $7 pair of leather pants!

Growing up, some of my favorite clothes were hand-me-downs. I particularly remember a corduroy bomber jacket — played “Flying Ace” for hours in that thing!
