Good morning Vagabonds.Long weekend, but it’s cold so any shushboomers (skiers) are going to find taking a run down the slope a chilling experience.Temperature is at 5 degrees this morning, but are expected to drop out of the bottom of the thermometer..After I get done with groceries I shall hide from the falling temperatures inside our Little House on the Hill. (hum, sounds like a title for a TV show).Nice day to all, have fun..ttfn

    Morning, Village!

Today is the annual stockholder’s meeting for the property owner’s association. Rumors are floating around that someone plans to make the motion to raise the assessment fee by a significant amount. I really hate these meetings, but I guess I better go.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Last night’s valentine’s dinner was wonderful. There were 16 couples there, including the pastor and his wife (bride of barely 2 years!). Very nice Italian meal and then we had a vow renewal ceremony where all the couples stood up at the same time and renewed their wedding vows en masse. It was very romantic, and yes, I got teary when I repeated my vows to Michael.

Then we came home and both got sick. We think the oil that was set out for dipping the bread was “off”. I had a little, and Michael had a lot. I’m a little nauseous and Michael is flat on his back in bed. We’ll see if we are just catching a bug or if all 16 couples have a reaction to it. Today’s the Ladies to Ladies monthly meeting, and I’ll see several of the wives from last night there.

Still enjoying 70’s temperatures. I even had the back door open all afternoon yesterday to get fresh air. That doesn’t happen often in February.

    Good afternoon Vagabonds.

About 20 to 30 today. I don’t know what the wind chill is but it is cold. Not too bad if you are in the sun and out of the wind.

Tonight and tomorrow it is supposed to get very bitter with temp around 0 and wind chill down to 20 below.

I don’t plan to go out at all tomorrow.

I wish we had your temps Jan.

It is now -4 degrees with a wind chill of about -20 degrees. Wind is blowing between 25 to 35 MPH. Nice and sunny.Hard to believe that it is going to be 50 on Tues. with rain.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

Excellent church service today. I love this thing of going up to the service during the “greeting” time (if I have no students) and then staying through the “greeting” time of second service. It gives me a chance to enjoy the entire service (albeit slightly out of order) and to see my friends in both services.

We got our new tow bar put together and ready to go. The seller had taken apart one piece that shouldn’t have been, apparently in order to fit it into the packing box. We couldn’t figure out how it was supposed to go, so we went over to Camping World (about 1 1/2 miles away) and looked at an intact one and it was immediately obvious. Obvious, but not easy. At least the guy gave us all the parts. We also got the Brake Buddy auxiliary braking system, and it is ready to go right out of the box, except for the “break-away” feature which applies the brakes if the hitch comes loose. We need to get that wiring installed, and the wiring harness for the lights, and we’ll be good to go. Phew!

Temp is still in the 70’s and loving it.
