We get very little snow here in the Coastal Plains of NC so our schools close even if there is the suggestion that it might snow.

I don’t think we ever had school closed because of snow, even when we had giant blizzards. I remember one day it was so cold the school buses wouldn’t start but even then the schools were open and parents were just expected to find another way to get us there.

No 2-hour delay? That is what usually happens here in south central PA. I never heard of a delay when we lived in upstate NY and NJ. Either we went to school at the normal time or it was cancelled if it was too icy.
