The man is creepy with sarcasm. I do not know why Janis is holding her hands out like that in panel 2. I agree to keep moving.

The facial expressions are wonderful. Especially Janis in panel two.

How can he be a creep? He wears a sweater, just like Bill Cosby. Um, never mind.

How can he tell what her figure is like under the heavy coat? And he is not a creep for asking her to have a drink. He is allowed to ask, he is her neighbor, not a stranger.

This is exactly why a lot of women don’t smile and act friendly to men out in public, though. Because “friendly” is interpreted as “interested”. If guys would stop making that assumption, women would be able to be friendlier.

I don’t speak to women for that very reason. No comment….. no misinterpretation on their part either. Let’s admit it goes both ways. Lots of women think if you just say ‘hi’ then "you want them’.
