Personalizing a new computer is half the fun of getting one! Start by changing all the default settings, just for the sake of changing them. And turn off Idiot mode, which is how Windows installs by default. (I’m suspicious of any files or folders the OS tries to hide from me!)

Apple sells you a device, then more or less tells you to your face that you aren’t smart enough to configure it.
