I don’t have a credit card, either, but I do have a student loan from ages ago. Never knew there are things like separate Christmas bills, though. And my bank account looks pretty fat. :)
We use the credit card companies money thru the month, earn and turn the points back toward the account for money back, then pay the total amount at billing. No interest fees that way.
Actually, paying cash for everything is not a good idea. If you ever try to rent an apartment or purchase a house, they may turn you down if you have no credit history. Whiteheron has the best idea – use the card wisely, and pay it off immediately.

@Tony
“How’s your credit?”As best I can tell I don’t have any (financially speaking). Only ever bought one thing on credit.

Kash is king… If I can’t afford it, it doesn’t get bought..The credit card companies gave up on sending me deals.

When they deliver your bill in a parcel, then you’ve overdone it—-unless someone’s stolen your number, in which case they’ve overdone it.

Also, if you are ever stranded somewhere, you can’t rent a car without a credit card. Cash and debit cards don’t work.

Tony: How’s your credit?I have ONE credit card, use it sparingly, and they just upped my limit. I guess that means I can spend more…..right?

@Tony You don’t want to know but I’ll give you a hint…I’m a nontraditional student in college.
