I’ve seen it so bad at one theater, a family brought in their whole dinner in tupperware containers with paper plates. The family was lining up in the aisle like it was a buffet.
I had the opposite problem, I’ve never smuggled food into the theater, but since I ride the bus everywhere I have to carry everything I need for the day with me in my book bag or backpack. I have no problem with the theater searching my bag for snacks, but when they still insist on confiscating the bag after they search it I have a problem.
