“Car phone” may be an obsolete term….
but people remain clueless.
Several people I know tend to call me .. whether on my cell or my landline…. when I’m just inches away from arrival,
knowing I don’t pick up when I’m driving.
“Are you … still home? almost here? gonna be late?”
“Should we meet at a different restaurant?
“Can you pick up some milk for the tea?”
And of course I get none of it till I’m already parked,
Life is actually simpler without a cell phone. Believe me!
