Even though these are reruns they’re still funny as heck, and I’m glad they’re continuing to post this strip. I LOVE the way Julie drew the crumbs on the mouths and the stains on the clothes! The Pennys are like a train wreck, you just can’t look away! As much as you’d like to slap the snot out of ‘em you can’t deny that Julie has them totally pegged. I KNOW people like this, so it’s doubly funny and doubly disgusting!

The people at the other table don’t put their faces down to the plate and keep swallowing until they’re done.

I wonder why the Pennys didn’t lick their plates as they usually do.

Ain’t seen nothing’ yet. I a few minutes, Burl is going to go around the room and count the number of plates at empty seats where people didn’t show. Then he’ll demand that they be served those missed meals, because they’re already paid for. He’ll get them, but the waiters will have to take a short break to get some water. All that spitting dries the mouth.

Because they take the time to enjoy their food instead of just taking a big breath and inhaling it all?

As, Jer’s ’lil glance at us through the fourth wall tells all…….shame that he often thinks like he does, but ALWAYS looks like he does.

This reminds me of my cats. They get the same amount of food, but one of the cats eats like she hasn’t eaten in a week, and the other one is very dainty. . . pick up a piece of kibble, chew on it, look out the window, pick up another piece of kibble. . . the piggy cat then gets upset that the other cat has food and she doesn’t.

I think that’s why the dainty cat eats so slowly. . .
