Betty must be a real ditsy lame-brained dame, if she can be hypnotized so many times that easily.

I don’t get that “life everlasting, the second death” thing, that’s too much with the raisin bran in the morning.

Wong’s going to bump Merala into the fire, saving Tarzan from having to kill her.

More likely, Wong will save Betty, then grapple with Merala and both will fall into the fire. But, does that mean they will die (permanently), or both be immortal (for Merala, doubly immortal, I guess)?

I think Tarzan means that when Betty becomes immortal, Merala will regain her mortality and die.

Only two more strips to go in this storyline Tribemates. Tomorrow and Saturday’s.

Sneaky Dr. Wong and sadistic Merala will not see the end of this fingerpointing tale. Sweaty Betty will remain entranced, the way she began this story bewitched by Demura’s song and will remain as the new bride of the returned decrepit Shahaha (remember him?)! Lots of loose ends to tie up in two more strips…….;)> HoHumAGowa!!

The August 20, 2015 explanation of the flame does not seem to jive with Meralas present story version.

Merala must have studied under Mandrake…..

Again, the radio serial MUST have added a little more drama, with the voices and all. This B&W comic doesn’t exactly “zing”.
