Back in 1966 in USAF basic training I had to pick up an M16.I felt violated as if I’d been forced to touch somebody’s genitals. I paid close attention to instruction on how to operate it so that I got a good score the first time because if I didn’t get a good score they would have made me do it again until I got a passing score.

Interesting personal attack, and diversion to charitable giving, which was not the point of the post. Liberal, yes. Couch potato, no. Food stamps, no. I was on unemployment for four weeks back in 1997..The point of the post is that conservatives seem to think there is nothing we can do to stop mass shootings except arm more people. We already have 9 guns for every 10 people, how many more do you think we need exactly? Unless of course it’s a Muslim doing the shooting and then we need to bomb the entire Middle East..Conservatives claim that the problem with mass shootings lies with people with mental illness, yet resist any effort to keep guns out of the hands of those people.
