Normal weather-vanes point in the direction the most wind is coming from. Politicians point in the direction the most money is coming from.
The last President jumped to conclusions and acted before the facts were known, with disastrous results – thousands of Americans killed and maimed, hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed and maimed, cost of trillions, a region destabilized. The President has a responsibility to keep his head when all about are losing theirs. He’s doing a decent job of doing that.
