Alix: I'm so glad you're HOME, Gramma. Gramma Evie: You ARE? Well me too. I MISSED you! Alix: Are you sure?? It seemed like you were having a lot of FUN in Thailand! Gramma Evie: I WAS! Alix: So why'd you come home? Gramma Evie: The missing-you part started to win.

That’s a really nice thing to tell to Alix. I know the feeling, Evie.:D

I agree that was a very sweet thing to say to Alix, but shouldn’t Evie be having some serious Jet Lag right about now?? Oh wait, this is the comics, they can skip right over that part, Nevermind! ;-)

Evie isn’t exactly running a marathon - she’s drinking a cup of tea and having a nice talk with her grand-daughter. You can manage that, even jet-lagged.

I don’t usually last more than 2 weeks before I start missing home.

It’s nice to see such a happy family moment. When I first started reading Stone Soup, Evie was seldom in it and then just to babysit which she seemed to resent and the girls seemed to resent her rules. Everyone has mellowed out or gotten wiser.

Jascat, me too I live on the west coast and when I leave I miss the ocean, and the mountains.
