Since the Earth’s climate has always been changing, it would be wise for humans to try to adapt. Instead we continue to over pollute and wring our hands about it. There has never been a period in earth’s history when the climate was not changing.
The people in the sixth ward in New Orleans adapted, most don’t live there anymore. New York is very close to sea level. It won’t take much for it to look like Venice but I am sure they will adapt also. I guess much of Florida will also have to move north. One can deny climate change all they want but sooner or later they too will “adapt”.

Might want to look into what’s happening in the Marshall Islands and a number of other low-lying Pacific island nations, as well as what’s already happening in countries around the Indian Ocean facing real problems with salinity as well as flooding in critical ecosystems.
