Sell the liquor stores! “We don’t want the government involved in private business like liquor” even though it generates 100 million a year in state revenue and we may get 500 million once for selling the businesses. What a hands-off stance! Wait, what’s that, the first thing he did when taking office was stripping gays of their equal work protections and then his attack dog [Attorney General] went about trying to force schools to expel their gay students? “”“Small”“” government For The Win. >.>

P.S. I like ABC stores. They’re quiet, clean, and friendly. Not that I drink much since I can get toasted on a single glass but still… they’re some of the cleanest stores I ever visit. Can’t say the same about the average 7/11 or other convenience stores.

consider what it entails to PURCHASE a liquor license,

the legalities, the attorneys, the drunks, the $ stealing clerks, the ABC (alcohol beverage control), the robberies…

    free enterprise sucks sometimes…

I live in VA and I think it’s a good idea. The state shouldn’t be involved in selling alcohol. They did it to appease the bible thumpers. It’s time for that era to end.
