Milking it beautifully…..knew we’d have to wait til Sunday, lol. Female? Ummmm……wouldn’t the voice give it away earlier, though? I’m sure Tracy would have brought it up if so. No, it has to be……oops, almost gave it away!

Very noir look to the artwork today. I must say that Joe’s art has been superb in this story.

The cameras got great footage and Tracy has a hunch. Later today, I will outline my idea of how things went chronologically, which I think points to the likely identity that Tracy has in mind.

Anyone else think that shadowy, fuzzy-chinned workman in panel 3 might be worth keeping an eye on? If the Hangman had a pilot, maybe he’s got other operatives as well?

Newman seems too happy of getting the footage he needed.

Ultimate irony: The camera man, he said he got great footage, but in a fit of carelessness…

“Umm, Mr. Newman? Hate to say this, but I forgot: there was NO FILM in the camera….oops? Can we reshoot the scene?”

If I were that pilot I would be long gone, at least by the time I saw the men toppling off the billboard.

Even if he did take off, the police were aware of his presence well in advance and I’m sure they could easily intercept him.

Seems the Hangman came to a rather gruesome end.

Anyone reading only the Sunday strips – And I’m sure there are at least a few such people in the world – Might be “Left Hanging” as to Whodunnit …

… though, reading just the Sundays over again, there might be a clue or two I’d missed, particularly on 11/15/15.

My last-minute theory is that the Hangman is all done… very.

Actually using footage in which someone died for real would be very unusual. Cameras were rolling when Brandon Lee was killed on the set of “The Crow,” and the director destroyed the footage after the investigation was complete. I believe the “Twilight Zone” footage of the helicopter accident that killed Vic Morrow was also destroyed.
