Sometimes I think I have slipped into an alternate universe where facts have been replaced by wishful thinking and outright fantasy. Kind of a virtual world where everybody makes up their own reality.
Does Lisa know that the Republican congress, even when asked, has refused to vote on giving the president the authority to use force in Syria? And that none of the Republicans has a strategy past saying that they’ll do what Obama has already been doing for many months? It’s appalling how little facts matter when your only motivating force is a deep, irrational hatred of Obama.
@Rodney et al posters…just a reminder, the truth is that the GOP doesn’t have any input into Obama’s Democratic “strategy” because the Constitution gives the C-I-C authority to the president/executive branch.-therefore, Obama must take the credit or blame for his strategy and policy failures. -truth #2, the Intel services tried to provide Obama with facts about the rise and expansion of ISIS, but Obama acts out the Democrat Party mascot’s mule-headed-ness and rejected “facts” that showed Islamic Terror as it is and as it acts. Obama doesn’t have any excuse for not knowing that ISIS is earning #1 Enemy of the US and Western World status. He is the top authority and he rejected the Intel for his entire term.
Tons of bombs, and other weapons have been targeting ISIL positions, and killing their members, while NOT starting full-blown war with Iran, or Russia, on a regular basis under the Obama strategy. Targeting the enemy, and not carpet bombing whole countries full of civilians is far more intelligent than the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld debacle that led to this disaster by CREATING ISIL in the first place.
So naturally, “conservatives”, and the Military Industrial Complex hate such restraint, and common sense.
@TomDo you pay any attention to President Obama’s speeches? Statements from White House spokesmen? Criticisms of Obama’s ACTIONS from Fox News? Is there some/any non-MSM news source for you? BBC News or??? Surely, there must be some source of FACTS you can turn to!
