Back when I was in grade school, there was an amusement park a block away, Each spring we’d watch the workmen working on the roller coaster. It occurred to me then that once you made it to the top of the first hill, that’s all she got. The ride had to continue on momentum only from that point on. Sir Isaac Newton rules! It think that’s what pushed me towards studying engineering.
