I can deduce that you do not live in the Southern United States. That is a rather common picture found all over the South, except in South Texas where his picture is a frontal view with brunette hair, holding a bleeding heart in one hand, striking a noble pose. This best description ever of another of his common pictures is to be found in “Portnoy’s Complaint”. I quote, ‘….the Pansy of Palestine ascending to heaven in his pink nighty, a la Frederick’s of Hollywood."
He still paints with as broad a brush as ever. Fox News, Trump, Elvis…all he’s missing for a stereotype home run is the trailer. This was much funnier when I was younger and “Progressives” hadn’t ruined the world and blamed it on Fox News.
I don’t think that Burk intended that the humor was to be the pictures on the wall but the fact that Opus was quoting songs from Donna Summer and the Journey (late ’70s early ’80s) as some form of therapy.Come to think about it, probably just as good advice as you would get from any one else.
I just have to take issue with the argument that Trader Joe’s is “overpriced.” You might not like the selection (I can’t imagine why, they have lots of stuff for everyone), but you can’t reasonably call it overpriced. They are noted for selling two-dollar bottles of wine that actually isn’t swill! Lots of good deals there.

Sadly, we don’t have trader joes where I live. Having looked up their orange chicken, I sort of wish they were.

She went one step too far, so now Opus is stepping out the door.

We got a Trader Joe’s a few months ago, never been in it…and by what you all are talking about – I probably never will. Not into gourmet foods.

Trader Joe’s is hardly gourmet. It’s overpriced, over processed, over processed crap for the most part.
