It would seem to me that most creatures who reside in a protected environment such as Sea World are a whole lot better off than one in the wild. They get fed regularly, receive medical care and are protected from predators.

We aren’t able to have meaningful communication with members of our own species, so it’s pretty obvious that we have no idea how the creature feels.

Google the words ‘Movie’ and ‘Blackfish’. The Orcas are starting to turn on their trainers

Cut ‘em loose, let’s see how long they last in the wild.

Or maybe all those who are complaining can raise the millions of dollars to teach the orcas to survive out on their own.

The tricks were probably the only interesting thing about their lives. For all the cruel people posting here, I hope they never get torn from their families and locked up in a cement prison for life.

Those sentient beings were torn from their natural home, placed in tiny enclosures, and all for entertainment (aka animal cruelty). Now the execs at Seaworld who’ve profited for years from this exploitation should be responsible for the costs of returning these living beings to the wild – not just dumping them either. When a society permits animal cruelty, it is at the same time condoning the coarsening of any moral sense toward other living things. Can’t you who defend this see that??

Agree with those who feel that the Sea world environment is probably safer and healthier than their natural environment. Instead of worrying about Sea World, the protesters should address real problems such as helping poverty or health stricken families.
