A great demonstration of why daily comics don’t make good political cartoons. Weeks ago, Rubio was rising in the polls. But by the time this week’s comics hit the publishers, the premise is no longer true..Even Ben Carson has self-destructed..All that’s left is the Donald.

Not that I would discourage Scott from doing political cartoons, it’s just that the time lag in the daily comics (as opposed to cartoons published on the op-ed page) tend to be out-of-date by the time they are published..Bottom Line: I think Carmen and Winslow are great at commenting on life in general, including politics. But as fast as current events go of late, I don’t think this is a good venue for today’s news..To the point: A week and a half since the Paris incident, Belgium still on lockdown. I’m sure Scott has something to say about it; he may have already drawn it..But how long before we get to see it?

WELL!!!! If it’s not “timely”, what’s the point in accusing others of being wrong, Wrong, WRONG?? Spoils the fun.
