Used to keep mine in the freezer. Made the batteries last longer.

I keep threatening to put a chain on it, like the pens in a bank…..I think it would just end up being a chain hanging.
We have a shelf above the tv-watching couch, so that’s where we put the 4 remotes necessary to operate a tv these days (or on the arm of the couch, or top of the couch against the wall…)
I have a remote “tower.” It stands about 8 inches high and can hold four remotes, one on each side. Almost impossible to lose.
And the TV goes in the closet?
