While I applaud 41’s burst of honesty in criticizing Cheney and Rumsfeld (followed by 43’s defense of both), it’s pretty obvious it’s an attempt to help JEB! out with his floundering campaign. To hardline R’s, 41’s comments will be looked upon as nothing but ramblings from an old man (even though they are truthful). No matter what, justice will never prevail.

<br)An adequate and truthful review of the events and claims leading up to the invasion of Iraq, orchestrated by Cheney/Rummy/Rice/Feith/Perle et al, that were all lies “W” happily repeated, proves it. That means reading the actual reportage from CIA and other agencies that were corrupted before presentation not only to the people, but the Congress outside the “intelligence” committees who were under law NOT to let out the truth they well knew, and those are the folks, espcially on that “left”, who voted against the war resolutions.
Revisionist history may reflect the truth more accurately, but remember—what is done is done and we are not going to change it now. Hopefully though we will learn from that history and not make the same mistake again…but in today’s politically reactionary America, an America that is an intellectually retarded redneck America, learning from the past is not very high on a progressive list of probabilities.
