Actually, you need a lot more context to determine who’s being a jerk. Is this his first day off after working all week, and he is reasonably good about keeping up with a fair share of the work, or is this the first time he’s dragged himself off the couch in quite a while, while she’s been working full time and trying to get it all done without any help?
