@ louiglutzThey didn’t.The study is based on a different methodology ( http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2015/11/2/experts-dispute-nasa-antarctic-ice-gain-study.html ) which may take into account factors that weren’t considered before. No one seems to be disputing the rising ocean levels though. So the problem still exists. It is just now they are less sure of the cause. Or at least that’s how I’m reading the article
And yet we keep recording a new global record for heat every year. The weather all over the world is getting crazier with more violent storms all the result of global warming. Al Gore wasn’t an advocate but warning us of climate change. It is here
Obviously most have never even read a synopsis of the theory. Some colder, some places warmer, some wetter, some drier. Scientists are insisting we are the cause based on the evidence, co2 levels, etc. Sen. Jim Inhofe was a year behind me in Central H.S. in Tulsa, he was stupid then, and when he spoke to our 40th reunion some 20+ years ago it was obvious he’d lost ground since. Too many ignorant or stupid folks cannot look at evidence and come to a conclusion, “To Hell with the facts, my Preacher’s Postman tole me the world is flat!” mentality.

Area doesn’t equal volume, big difference. The terrestrial ice is depleting, and THAT is the real problem, in Antarctica, and Greenland.
