If the Russian crashed passenger plane was a response to Russian military intervention, it is one more bit of evidence that the inhabitants of the area resent the intrusion of acquisitive nations competing for influence and control of resources. Empire building nations never seem to learn that minding your own business is an option, the result being the nation’s people pay a heavy price.
