@Tony“What are you supposed to know?”Well at least I knew that.@BevYeah, you go ahead and try that. Let us know just how long it takes to clean your hard boiled oven.
@Tony“What are you supposed to know?”I was supposed to know better than to jump off cliffs. But, hey I was just a kid and I didn’t break anything so what’s the problem.
I once bought a little covered “poached egg maker” for the microwave….I dutifully poked holes in the yolks, even though I was afraid they would run, put on the cover, and punched in the requisite time….
120… 119….118…. etc….at about 59 seconds ,,, BLAMMO!
Bits of egg everywhere!
They were NOT easy to clean!
Coupla years later, I found one with a covered that locked on ,,, supposedly securely….with little tabs….
BLAMMO!!
I’m thinking what I’m supposed to know is that you can’t poach eggs in the microwave.
I do eggs in the microwave all the time. I just use a small plastic tub, prick the yolk, but only cook for 30 seconds or so, or until the white is done. Yolks tend to be more hard boiled rather than poached.
I’m supposed to know everything…….I fake it. I do have one of those gadgets that cooks a scrambled egg in the microwave. Works great. I have the egg on ham and cheese sandwiches.
