I got a good laugh out of this!! I was transported back to Modern Art History class at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas for a moment!

They would hand deliver it. You could get four or five exchanges a day that way, instead of just two mail deliveries. Now extinct, of course. Electronics.
