It’s bad enough with kids. It is VERY unappealing in an adult. I once worked with a young woman who took the same approach to life, including her job. “Can you do it for me?” Obviously the Little-Miss-Helpless routine had worked for her throughout childhood, so she just continued using it. Her parents did this girl no favors by indulging her.
