Bathing caps used to come in all colors. In those days there wasn’t nearly as much hair in the pool filters, and women didn’t have to buy nearly as many hair care products to repair the chlorine damage.I think it all went to pot during the late Sixties when guys started wearing hair down to their shoulders and disdained bathing caps. About then the gals quit using caps too, and the hair conditioner manufacturers hit the jackpot.
