When my wife expressed a desire to change the door and drawer pulls in our kitchen, I took her to Home Depot to select a style she liked. Since we needed 38 pieces, I also bought her a small cordless screwdriver to make the switch-out easier. Leaving the pulls on the counter, I took the screwdriver down to my shop to unbox and charge the battery. When I came back upstairs, she was already replacing the pulls – using a butter knife.

No, that was her hubs idea of a kitchen makeover and afterwards, he took a nap.

I think I’m gonna take a nap now…

I did that a few years back. Got a bag of nice handles at a yard sale.

Nice handles that someone replaced because she did not think they were nice.

It’s Veteran’s Day today, folks…

I have my Dad’s burial flag, dog tags, hat, and medals in a display case on top of a bookcase beside me! He is long gone now, but I will never forget what he sacrificed for our country, and the rest of the free world…
