Ironic, after years of not liking his Sundays and finally posting about it, there very next weekend I get one that I find amusing.

I’ve always wondered why we buy 30-year, scratch-resistant, stain-resistant paint when we know we’ll get tired of the color and paint it again in five years.

Hubby always stores the left-over paint under the work bench in case he needs it again. When it gets so old it “thunks” in the can instead of sloshing, he tosses it out.

Love it ! My old lavender outdoor paint went on the garden benches I made. The flooring of the new shed got the green and brown for water resistance and easier to sweep. I hate waste.

A slice of life “borrowed” from the classic 1892 book “Diary of a Nobody” by George and Weedon Grossmith.

I’m surprised he was able to accomplish all that painting with only one gallon. It must be a very thin coat.

A blonde canvassed a wealthy neighborhood looking for odd jobs. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had anything for her to do.“Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?”She replied, “How about $50?”The man agreed and told her the paint was in the garage. A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.“You’re finished already?” he asked.

“Yes,” the blonde answered, “and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats.” Impressed, the man reached in his pocket for the $50.

“And by the way,” the blonde added, “that’s not a Porsche; it’s a Ferrari.”
