“When wars actually ended.” Yeah, sort of.Over this time period, we got into Korea. We are still there.We got into Viet Nam. That one looked to never end.We adjusted the government of Iran. That gift is still giving.We went through a few rounds of cold war with Russia. Maybe that one is sort of on again.There appears to be a human behavioral principle around here somewhere.

Technically we still have troops in Japan. We forced their military to be for defense only.
