    The guy on the right appears to carry an old fashioned rifle. Shouldn’t he carry something better like an AK-47or an M-16?

    You’ll notice that in both cases the gun is being held by a human that uses it, rather than the other way around.

    Every time someone tells me that guns don’t kill people I just want to say, ok, fine, you’re right. Now tell me something useful, tell me how we’re going to stop the people from killing each other. We’ve established who is doing it. Big deal. Your remark was useless if what we want is the violence to stop. Just as useless as banning guns, I will agree.

    Less than 5% of gun owners are in the NRA. Less than five percent of gun homicides are committed by people with mental illness.

    Should fewer than 5% define all??

    That could be me on the right. I’ve said it before: if I’m going to hunt, I want to hunt hunters. Especially the two-legged anthrax who hunt lions and tigers and bears.OTOH, I respect those who hunt for food.
