“But it is to soon to be talking about it…” Yeah, let’s give it another decade of despair.

So, all you gun nuts, why is your first response to a tragedy like this to yell about gun control instead of showing even the tiniest bit of sympathy for the victims?Shame!

NO. Our first response is to mourn for the victims of an out of control gun industry that supplies these engines of destruction. You gun nuts, (to use your language), refuse to acknowledge that death by gun plummeted in Australia after they heavily restricted guns. My friends in Europe ask me how I can stand all these guns. I tell them I don’t know.

I misread Simon Jester. Sorry, man I’m with you. Let’s do an Australia!

Nice to see the left still can’t answer the simple questions and has to run to the FBI to “save” them from the truth. Pathetic!

I just learn that this tragedy produced at least one hero, an Army Vet named Chris Mintz, who was shot seven times while trying to protect the other victims.

..and the right just lambasts liberals, while offering no solutions for any of the problems in this country. There answer for everything is either more guns or tax cuts.

To be honest, I find these type of cartoons trite.

Image of national patriotic symbol – check

Make it pull heart-strings – check

List the long roll of atrocities – check

Start preparing the next trite cartoon because this was the 45th school shooting in the USA this year – <…>

Do something about it instead of always beating your chests in despair.

I prefer the angry or biting ‘toons on this subject. I liked Nick Anderson’s, Darrin Bell’s not so much, Clay Bennett’s was so-so.

Remember folks, relatively unregulated access to tons o’ guns will keep you safe! Second Amendment: WELL REGULATED access to “ARMS”, also meant swords and other weapons of the times, not just “FIREarms”.

Also, “mass shootings” are only a pimple on the body of gun violence in the U.S., where even with “laws”, access to guns is the easiest in the industrialized world, which is why our gun violence far exceeds all of those other countries, combined.

I own guns and a CCP, and the greatest threat to my continued ownership of firearms is the unrelenting oppositiion to legitimate restrictions by the NRA.

“I guess if we have to endure this dumb question on every page, we must reply dumb for dumb. So here’s your gun control law:.Make it illegal for anyone to own, manufacture, or import any firearm. Prescribe the death penalty for non-compliance. Chase down all owners and confiscate their guns. Use UN troops as necessary. .Howzat? ".That is exactly the answer the liberals want, but know they can’t yet achieve. I’ve been saying liberals are really out for an all out ban for weeks, but everyone denied it. Well, here is proof.

“Now feel free to ignore my answer and continue to whine that no one ever answers you.”.Oh hiram, quit playing the martyr. I answered your question and it really is the only true answer to the question. It is why I mock you gun control nuts when you claim it is all about gun control and not a gun ban. Thanks for having the balls to tell the truth.

^rallsolo: Stick with only the "industrialized"as in “first world” countries, eliminating third world nations, or those providing us our drugs, and we’re not only in the top hundred, but the top 10 for firearm homicides.

The “La Pierre Bible and Almanac” is also a poor reference for accurate statistics, you might try DOJ or other actual crime reports.

Crying will solve the problem. Sensible legislation? No, can’t do that.

Rallsolo: you “Russian post” brought to mind a story my uncle told about Berlin at the end of the war. Two Russian soldiers were sitting on diagonal street corners, they’d take a swig of vodka, then fire a burst across the street at their fellow Russian, this went on for a while, until one Russian was hit and went down. They apparently had some gripe going on, and this form of “Russian roulette” was their way of settling the argument. That was back in ‘45, shortly after the allies occupied Berlin, jointly, that didn’t last long. Folks just don’t seem to like getting along and settling things without guns.
