So all you gun control nuts. What gun control law would have prevented this? I keep asking this and you all keep running away from it. Why? Because the problem isn’t guns. The problem is the people who want to do acts like this. A gun control law isn’t going to stop someone bent on committing murder. I know it. You know it. You just don’t have the guts to admit the truth.
Already responded to this, but kudos on repeating what so many other liberals fear to voice out loud; that only a total ban on guns will give liberals what they want. It won’t do a thing about murders or violent crime, but since when have liberals cared about those things?
License all gun owners, like New Zealand does, and they will control their firearms, not letting them get stolen, or selling them on the black market to “bad guys”, and confiscate illegally held guns on the street. Step 1 to a viable solution.
Step 2. Reduce the income inequality in the U.S. so there is a reduction in poverty, even if it does mean the top 1% might reduce their profits by 1%. That means real jobs brought back to the U.S. by industries who’ve exported those jobs is a part of that, and will cost the 1% less than 1%.
^My daughter was a nurse in Roseburg, Or. She saw several gunshot wounds a month there. She moved to New Zealand, and intrestingly enough, nearly four years in the ER in a major city, not a single gunshot wound in all that time. They like NZ, and we’ve discussed the issue with Kiwis about guns, and health care; they wouldn’t want the U.S. systems for “gun safety” or health care, at ALL.
