The problem is that the costs of pills has nothing to do with the cost of making them, and everything to do with the cost of the research and development, and that leads to all sorts of crazy pricing oddities, like differential pricing between countries. Another crazy example of pharmaceutical pricing affected me when they just had Nasacort go from prescription to over the counter. The last time I bought it was as a prescription, while I had insurance, and it cost me $120. That was too much, so I decided not to use it. These days I have no insurance, but over the counter it is now $10, so I use it regularly during allergy season.
The correct one has just been posted. This is what happens when I neglect to toss the original scan out of the weekly folder. I drag the last item in the folder to the FTP, and if the scan is still in there, that’s what gets selected. The color should post soon.
He actually did an interview where he said something to the effect that the proper price for the drug was higher than what he raised it to, according to some pricing formula. He actually thinks that that makes it acceptable to price drugs out of the ability of most people to afford them. And he probably wonders why healthcare is so expensive.

The worst part is that it costs less than $1 per pill to make so this d-bag’s already turning a healthy profit!
