All the “cool linemen” have ambition and apparently State Champion Coach Gil is forcing them to slog through mud up to their knees for the cartwheel incident.

A Junior in an English 101 Literature class and he is motivated by ambition. “A strong desire to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.” We’ll see how hilarious big brother is when he has a mid term deficiency.
Where are Boo and B-Stat-Whiz during all this? Abducted by the aliens? Maybe the ‘TYB’ is a coded message from the mother ship to the operatives within the student body. Heck, that makes as much sense as the ‘real’ story line does.
I’ve never watched a single minute of any reality show of any kind and yet as preposterous as this whole concept is (a reality show around an actual high school) I keep reading the strip daily. For a superhero I am weak when it comes to Gil Thorp.

Do these two clowns always address each other as “big brother” and “little brother?” It must drive their parents nuts. I probably already mentioned Hoss Cartwright referring to Little Joe as little brother, but no one else can get away with it.
I wonder who grades papers for Carter S. Carter. My cousin is a high school English teacher. He has to dedicate a lot of “free” time to grading homework.
This must be the most compelling show on TV. If only we could watch it for real! And speaking of compelling, today’s Mopped Up Thorp is very compelling! Well maybe not in real life, but compared to Gil Thorp it is.
