I was recently rereading Aristotle’s “De rerum pulli barbari” and was reminded (in the chapter headed “Platypus: the ultimate super-animal”) that the platypus, in addition to being cute as a button, shoots laser beams from its eyes. One must wonder if Laser Moose studied with some Yoda-like platypus to learn the eye-laser technique. Or are m00se and platypuseseses closer genetically than their rather different morphology would suggest?
