That is absolutely hilarious. I haven’t had enough coffee yet to remember what it reminds me of…

I let our grandchildren use the good white china to eat cookies. You know, the type that comes on rolls and you tear off a plate at a time. They’re so handy, because they are the only plates I know that you can use to wipe your lips after you’re finished eating.

No such thing as complete rejection of all authority. Reject a red light, you get in trouble. Reject a speed limit sign, same thing. Reject laws on murder, theft, embezzlement, you’re doing time. I’m sure Agnes’s grandmother, in her own matronly way, is teaching Agnes a very valuable lesson.

Dani… I sometimes try to do what you mention…“they are the only plates I know that you can use to wipe your lips after you’re finished eating.”

You must be a graceful person.Somebody as dorky as me, or your average six-year-old, is doomed.

The plate is there to catch the crumbs, and not make a mess of the couch or table…But when you pick it up at the end to wipe your mouth..well…there they go.

Autonomy: freedom from external control or influence; independence.

I had to look that one up. Agnes who does not take school seriously is more educated than I am.
