Captain Julius Funchess finally makes his first appearance in P1. I wonder if he’s related to the receiver for Carolina. Unfortunately Captain Julius should have been flagged for launching himself at the runner and using his helmet as a weapon. Nice coaching State Champ Coach! He did however, nearly block the field goal with his foot in P2. At least they went back to the regulation size football today.
But, that’s one odd looking football Tru(e) is attempting to throw in P3. I wonder just how far and how accurately he can throw that thing holding it by the tip like that. He must have been eating on the day they were teaching Gripping The Ball at camp.
Curley used to try using his hand like that in P3 to block Moe’s eye pokes. It didn’t work then either.
Oakwood doesn’t have much of a kicking game…the 29-yarder barely made it. No wonder Tru(E) fights back quickly. The kickoff probably only went to the 35 yard line.
