Why write “alright”? It’s not a word. It’s sloppy writing for “all right.” Why can’t a writer use the correct words to relay the sounds a speaker makes? Why must a sloppy writer be such a poor influence on readers? Shouldn’t professional writers be held responsible for their pointless & deliberate promotion of ignorance?
