People see what they want to see. Facts are irrelevant. He could have focused on the huge agenda before the congress that is left over from the last do nothing session, and the one before that.
I guess Gorrell wants another war in the Middle East. How well has that EVER worked out? Obama was too smart to support the first one, so it’s unlikely he’d support an even stupider one. He’s been doing everything he can short of war: a very good deal with Iran on nuclear weapons, killing terrorist leaders with drones and targeted strikes. If you want war, you need to get more Republicans elected.
UNITED NATIONS — The world is making progress on items ranging from human rights to global warming, President Obama said Wednesday, but all of that could be undone by the largest threat: extremist violence. In his annual address to the United Nations, Obama urged all countries and religions — especially Islam — to reject the extremist ideologies that fuel bloodshed and threaten global stability.“As we look to the future, one issue risks a cycle of conflict that could derail so much progress,” Obama said. “And that is the cancer of violent extremism that has ravaged so many parts of the Muslim world.”http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2014/09/24/obama-united-nations-general-assembly-syria-iraq-islamic-state/16143767/
It doesn’t matter how often Obama condemns extremists in Islam, he has also pointed out other religions aren’t innocent, so it doesn’t count.
Dresden, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Auschwitz, just a brief history of “Christian kindness” in recent times, the Crusaders slaughter of everything in Jerusalem when they took the city, goes back a little further.
I don’t know why I read them all, but I do. Somehow I find it interesting to see how people think, or fail to think. I don’t read all the posts, however. There are some that are so predictable there’s no point.
Read middle east history, the Koran, the Hadiths and you will find it has been their manner of life since Mohammad said to kill infidels and apostates. So that is the common thread. I say leave them alone and keep them out. Eventually they’ll kill enough of one another to be only a minor irritant instead of a global threat.
Obama has never said “Islamic” and “terrorist” in the same context, but has consistently criticized so called “Christian” events from hundreds of years ago.

But conservatives want to focus on the “Islamic” part and drop the “extremists” and declare war on all of Islam.

Funny how only someone like Gorrell detects “resting arrogant face” when he looks at Obama. Why would that be, I wonder.

And yet under President Obama’s watch, bin Laden was killed while George Bush didn’t even think about him.

So, Gorrell, your point is…?(Other than that all Muslims are extremists and Obama should have killed them all?)
