Just read the bio. Perhaps they could power California’s chair, and much of the state, with power they’d get from attaching a generator to the gyrating corpse of Bill Mauldin, who was pretty much incapable of drawing anything this obscure and amateurish-looking.
The electric chair has never been used in California. They’ve used hanging (until 1938; last one in 1941), the lethal gas chamber, and lethal injection.
The death penalty is simply an outrageous waste of money and social costs. Life without parole makes total sense, morally and economically, and let the “lord” have his vengeance.
If folks insist on keeping it, go back to only haning or firing squad as “Constitutional options” per means available in 1791 and NOT considered “cruel or unusual”.

Because, after all, the death penalty is always correct, fair and accurate. And if it isn’t, there’s always a do-over, right?
