Phil: AHEM.
Holly: PHIL? What are you doing at my school?
Phil: Your mom isn't crazy abut me going back on patrol. I thought I'd reconsider the campus cop job.
Holly: Lucky me.
Phil: Do they hold classes off-site now?
@whiteheron My Dad was my 6th grade teacher, and my 3rd grade sister had Mom for her teacher, at our school.By the way, "loooong before “[public] schooling” was home schooling – the only official schooling for young kids throughout much of history. Though for the rich kids, the home schooled children had a governess (or equivalent).
Yup yesterday commenters called it. Like same thing when they first met. How long before Phil goes back to police work though with most HS police work sadly picking up. Phil you will be a great step dad so Holly has to stay in school good for you. Here metro KS HS man walked in HS, followed a female to girls rest room attacked her, most wonder how he managed to get in side door as most HS doors are locked except front entrance. His picture posted. Security officer’s more on campus students need ID.
Busted! Here’s a thought, if there were security guards at all schools, then there’ll be less school shootings, and less kids and teachers will be murdered by nut jobs who see the “gun free zone” signs as invites to shoot the place up.
Holly’s lucky Phil is there, holding the door open.
Even back then if you left a jr/high school door, the only way back was thru a secure door where you had to check in with the lady behind the bullet proof window and get buzzed in.

it sure is no fun to have a parent in the law-enforcing career; can’t get away with nothing
