No, the Ohio delegation kept blocking Murkowski’s bill. And the Sec’y of the Interior has the authority anyway, so rather than let the Boehner crowd continue to override the long-time wishes of the Alaskan people, Obama greenlighted the change. Why do you think Big Government and federal interference is the answer to everything???
