It could just be that Tip’s female companion is named Tip. Of course, given the nature of the strip, it’s more likely that the companion is the Tip of this reality. That would explain why the female Tip responded to Sweetheart’s voice, assuming that the Sweetheart of this reality hasn’t changed too.

Tip hooking up with the alternate reality version of himself…seems inevitable. Kind of like the only thing left he hasn’t done.
