7 year old spy?

Huh.

Well, that’s depressing.

I am not too smug about this. It looks like America may have executed a 14 year old boy for throwing rocks!

I do hope you grasp the difference between an officer responding with deadly force when assaulted by a group of teenagers (for which he’s under investigation) and the premeditated lynching of a seven year old child

To many officers are getting trigger happy these days. I would rather have whipped their butts and got fired than to deal with a big blunder of shooting them for throwing rocks.

I personally wouldn’t attempt to close with a group of youths throwing stones in order to whip their butts - that could get an officer seriously injured. Serious lacerations, broken bones or TBI, for example. Besides, they were throwing from across the border.

I think the least damaging scenario would have been for the officers to withdraw. Of course, that would embolden more incidents, but we wouldn’t be dealing with a dead teenager.

And we get Sh*t for pouring water on them.What a world.

Well, given the channel being the MSM, and given the MSM’s known biases… and how this would be a story that would run counter to those biases…

Indeed… I still want to know how throwing rocks ‘across the border’ regardless of their size warrants shooting a young teenager in the head “pretty close to an eye.” That was intended to be a lethal shot and there’s absolutely no way to dispute that. If you’re threatened, an arm or leg would have sufficed.

From what I have read the child was snatched from a garden where he was playing and hung from a tree a short while later in retribution for remarks his grandfather made against the Taliban. Keeping in mind that the Taliban execute citizens with beheading and throw acid in the faces of women trying to get an education quite often, I wouldn’t put this event far beyond the truth.

The taliban? What else did you expect from those?

Fifteen and a known criminal. BIG diference, but not to the fevered and enraged mind of the likes of todays left where the ludicrice is presumed normal.

Jade, I find the Border patrol officer’s version the most plausible, although I’m not ready to take sides on that issue until more information comes out.

I think shooting people in the arm or leg with a handgun while on the move is pretty much the stuff of Hollywood , rather than something an officer would attempt while dodging rocks being chucked his way. I would hazard a guess that he didn’t intend for that head shot either, but likely aimed for the center of the young man’s body. Also, a rock can do a lot of damage, and when someone’s trying to hit you with one, your adrenalin gets pretty high.

Mostly, in both the Afghanistan and Mexican border incidents, I think of the horrible ordeal the parents are going through. I don’t blame the Mexican mother for thinking her son was blameless, and I doubt there is anything we could do to make her feel there is justice in the system. I also think that whether or not the investigation finds the border patrol agent at fault, the incident will probably haunt his conscience for rest of his life.

And to the Taliban, the coalition are the nuts for “using” the seven-year old as a spy…

Whoever the idiot was that sent a 7 year old boy to do spy work were obviously the ones to blame.

Same as it always was…and no end in sight.

By the way, I don’t think the seven-year old was a spy. That was the Taliban’s thought, not mine.
